My new Ship John plaid flannel has been stuck in the Swedish customs since 22 July, this usually don’t take this long, So hoping it will start moving soon️

@mecken88 Mike just announced that they don’t have enough fabric for the new model of the Kristofferson and that they would rerun the same one from last year in August. FYI, I know you were looking out for it

Favorite new flannel (sorry IH) no wash or soak yet, but love the double fabrics on shoulders, and elbows down to cuffs. Great design, insane fabric.

I did not get one, but I will say the Ship John one does look a little more interesting with the change of direction on the pockets and the shoulders.

Yeah I definitely think it’s a lot nicer than the RGT version but maybe I’m biased. This really is a great shirt

I’m interested in trying something from Ship John and was looking at denim and sashiko Townes shirts that they posted will be releasing soon.

Just general question on how people like the shirts? Any notable differences compared to Japanese brands? And is there any general consensus on sizing compared to IH?

This came today, I’m so stocked! Glad I sized up to a large. And would it shrink ever so slightly it wouldn’t matter either. So it fits me great!

@natefreezy my experience is that SJ shirts is generally longer then most IH.
By now I can be a bit biased maybe but every ship John product I own have been plain amazing for me! So I can easily see myself owning a regular denim Townes shirt someday too!🫶

@natefreezy most fabric is from Japan, handpicked top tier, cut a sewn here. The sashiko is hands down the best shirt I have ever owned (league of its own type). The flannel is another personal fav.
Smaller shop, but big quality and design. Only problem is very small runs that sell out within minutes.
