Finally got my 292. I was going back n forth on XL vs XXL up until final hour and went with XL for a more dialed fit. 6-2, 200lbs. I tend to always wear shirt under and layer. Really happy and love this classic. IH CPO's are the best design, fit, quality, detail...no CPO is complete without twill cuffs, collar, placket. ; )
When you buy the size too big, sometimes you just shift the plan and improvise for colder days.
16oz Sashiko Ori Indigo, but as you know this feels heavier that IH 21oz, and just more my style. I wish it was CPO style and had the lined placket + cuffs, but without a doubt one of my favorite pieces.
Day 1 with my new Superblack CPO. Definitely the most stiff and rigid 16oz I've ever witnessed. It will make the wear process in that much more rewarding. I'm 6-2, 196lbs, and often wear XXL and XL Iron Heart depending on the measurements and intent, and XL is perfect for this fit all around. Long journey ahead, and thanks for the inspiration.
My new favorite UES, and I have quite a few. 11.4oz INDIGO DOUBLE WEAVE. Sometimes photos and descriptions just don't do a shirt justice.
Favorite new flannel (sorry IH) no wash or soak yet, but love the double fabrics on shoulders, and elbows down to cuffs. Great design, insane fabric.
I was on the fence with SHF, but now I'm a fan. Love how this is more of a washed black, and a bit more grey in the light (but still black)! 6-2 (196lbs) XXL.

@CosmoSix5 Yes, I just order the duck CPO and am real excited to get it. The sizing always makes me nervous even though I know my measurements well.
Iron Heart tends to either restock or release something I absolutely love immediately after I make a big purchase, lol.
But this denim CPO is a must for me at some point. I'm a sucker for the twill placket and cuffs! The more blue in my closet the harder for my wife to distinguish if it's new purchase. ; )

Damn, one of the keys to minimize the funky lines and marbling (IME) is to soak it prior to washing + inside out, drip dry (fluff dry as needed). I've only done once but so far so good, and this will be the season of heavy wear. This fabric is insanely unique and rigid which apparently makes it vulnerable to crazy swirls, lines, and marble. My goal is to hopefully just get honest wear and tear. Embrace to mishaps, there's really nothing quite like this CPO.
@rimaarts I think you will be pleasantly surprised when the sleeves shrink up a tad and natural folds set in your arms. IH sleeves run long for obvious reasons when riding, but I've seen all size men make it work. Time and wear seem to work wonders on a lot of these pieces, kinda magical. As for the bottoms, really helps if you can try on some different fits in different sizes, they seem to cover a lot of ground for wide array of body types. Good luck, CPO looks nice.

The problem with this CPO pocket misalignment is they sell out quickly. Most end up living with it due to the fact that your only option is a credit for a shirt that won't run again until next year. I'm fine with mine, honestly didn't notice until it was posted about. Slight annoyance but still checking weather daily for cooler days. Love this shirt.
@T4920 did you go with you normal IH size? Looks good.
@Mindfulbiscuit I would only cold wash and hang dry to play it safe. Avoid any shrinkage. Looks good!
@bwscott for what it's worth mine is like that as well, and looked at another IH western CPO and it's not. Hopefully I don't start obsessing over it now lol.
@natefreezy most fabric is from Japan, handpicked top tier, cut a sewn here. The sashiko is hands down the best shirt I have ever owned (league of its own type). The flannel is another personal fav.
Smaller shop, but big quality and design. Only problem is very small runs that sell out within minutes.
@Tobi I concur, we've been doing this long enough to know that feeling when the fit is right. I think the XXXXL will get you there. We can talk ourselves into settling with tshirts only and unbuttoned, but the better choice is only a return. Look forward to seeing the new fit! This fabric is incredible.
