Too curious, I send them a question and asked.

Mike actually answered and was slightly cryptic with a short answer like he often does. That all details will be unveiled in time.
But for those hoping both the regular one and a new one will be produced, he unfortunately can burst that bubble.
He confirmed that just ONE version will be produced and it’s gonna be the new colorway. So a new one will be produced, the old will not come back as of now. If it will in the future, no one knows. He didn’t said anything about that. Just that the new colorway hasn’t been announced yet, and the old will not return with this release just the new colorway. And they will let everyone know when it’s ready.

I feel like a black denim is coming, which would be rad. In an earlier post, he mentioned a black Sashiko was coming soon too, so could be a killer combo!

If I just listen to my gut feeling, I would guess its black denim with black lining🫣

And if I would listen to my heart, I really would wish it’s a indigoXblack denim with same mouton yellow lining🥰

Unless that pic is real doctored beyond just being made black and white it ain’t black mouton, either. Could be gray? Seems like the denim is probably broken twill from looking at the pic

Left pictured is Mikes tease. Middle is just a plain black n white filter put on a regular Kristofferson jacket with my iPhones own options. No special effects or editing. You can see the difference between the shades of grey.

And that’s Mikes tease on the left, and a regular Levi’s black denim jacket with black Sherpa lining that I put the same black n white filter on with my iphone. Put them next to each other and there is a pretty big resemblance..

I know it’s no proof or any significant information on what it’s actually is, but it at least shows Mikes new lining is probably a lot darker then the old yellow mouton.
My gut feeling said black with black, and my curiosity and I think it’s actually rather fun to speculate. Like a fun little guessing game, so I had to try the old black n white filter myself

Really digging this new shirt. Gave it a warm wash and hang dry to shrink it a little and I’m very happy with the fit

@mecken88 Mike just announced that they don’t have enough fabric for the new model of the Kristofferson and that they would rerun the same one from last year in August. FYI, I know you were looking out for it

Favorite new flannel (sorry IH) no wash or soak yet, but love the double fabrics on shoulders, and elbows down to cuffs. Great design, insane fabric.
