THIS OR THAT?

Very torn between the upcoming 21oz SBG type 3 and the superblack non-fade. Anyone have input either way here?
-
I vote for fades. It's nice to see the fruits of your hard wearin' work.

Fades guy here. Evo and wabi sabi are almost the entire point for me. Not just for fades, but for fabric texture, hand, and decay.
There are times and places where I want a garment to remain pristine, and for those I tend to go to other brands like Vuori for work slacks for example.

I’m decidedly undecided on my next jeans purchase. I’ve decided that my next pair will be OD and in my new favorite cut…so RN I’m eying up either the 16oz Slubby OD or else the 21oz OD. Which one ( and I can only get one) should I get? and why?

Have a pair of 16oz slubs but never held 16oz slubby od but the 21OD is super nice and almost velvety right from the start. Personally I'd go for the 21 over the 16 unless you really want a pair of black od jeans to wear when it gets hotter since they breathe a bit better than the 21s. Also feel like the 21 fabric is overall a bit more durable than the 16 if you plan on working or crawling around in them.

Wanting to add a pair of White’s black boots (my first in that color) and have narrowed it down to these styles. My main hang up is do I want a celastic toe and do I want smooth CXL or black waxed flesh? Pic 1 is the Max Schaff riding boot from White’s website. Pics 2 annd 3 are from Division Road. I want a Christy sole too so the wedge is out but I’m including a pic because of the waxed flesh leather. Any input appreciated. Also I’m not in a hurry and may wait and place a custom order during fall sale

Three, tres, tria, trois. You pick lol
Division Road boots arethey really hate speed hooks though
only beautiful boots like their collabs are worth messing with that many eyelets!

Just because you already have a wedge sole doesn’t mean you can’t have another obviously. Here’s the math.
Pros: waxed flesh, black AND brown, tan sole, doesn’t have too much contrast with dark black and bright white, you like wedge soles.
Cons: you already have a wedge sole boot.
-
Definitely number three.

@SKT would you regularly rewax the waxed flesh or let em get all rough out looking? If the latter, they evo much more drastically than smooth cxl. Not necessarily bad, but something I would consider.

@68degreesorless yeah that’s a good point. I would probably just let em rip. And I’d be down for more intense evo I think
