Stayed in the city Saturday night — had seafood at The Optimist. The grouper cheeks (not pictured) were amazing. Also caught my comedian friend Nick Murphy(not pictured/I blame drinks) at the Laughing Skull.

Not pictured: the “Four Horsemen” burger, tater tots from The Vortex, and all the Jack and Cokes I drank — but you can clearly see those drinks in my face.

Last night Morgan and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. Since we got married in Italy we always go out to an Italian place to celebrate. Last night we hit up Tavernetta. Big shout out to @SourPower for putting this place on our radar. Insanely delicious.

We started at Sunday Vinyl for cocktails.

Not even one person called me a dork @jordanscollected

Then off to Tavernetta

Insalada primavera goat cheese pistachio spring vegetables

The Alaskan Halibut farm spinach prosciutto kumquat was out of this world

Pappardelle with porcini cherry spigarello parmigiano-reggiano

Girasole with leek potato and montasio

Dessert was also lights out. Tiramisu and a rhubarb tart with a cheesecake base and mango gelato

Fat, buzzed, and happy!!

@Mizmazzle my man! One of the best uses of Chambray (or herringbone?) is under an IH work vest. It’s the perfect compliment layer. Cool scheme with the Olive pants too. (What are the internal “work hooks” for on the inside waistband of the Freeenotes?)

@jordanscollected Thanks Jeff! This particular shirt is a Tellason striped chambray. Super light weight...like 4oz or so. Love the subtle stripes.
Not sure what those loops are for on the deck pants. Maybe a keep loop or something? That fabric is so comfortable. I look forward to opening up my wardrobe a bit with some green pants. Going to make a lot of my shirts more versatile I think.

Went to KBBQ place with the Missus that uses coal instead of the usual gas grills. The staff actually did most of the grilling for us which I was not expecting but 10/10.
