Some great new albums have dropped recently. These three are all I have been playing at the shop.

            Possession - Ty Segall
So far this is my album of the year. Been listening to this on repeat

Honky Tony Wisdom - Eric Long
Eric is a really good friend of mine and he has been on absolute fire lately. Great songwriter - little bit of Waylon Jennings and he's been entering his Jimmy Buffet era lately. Lots of good beer drinkin' songs.

Phantom Island - King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
Their 27th full length album and 1st with a orchestra.

Can you play something like this to your customers ;-)?

                        That is a spicy take.

This belongs in unpop ops. A Black Sabbath album without Ozzy is not truly a Black Sabbath album...

                              That's not an opinion
                              That's just a fact

In my opinion the first 2 Black Sabbath albums are up there with several other band’s first 2 albums…Hendrix,Cream,The Doors,Led Zeppelin,of that time period.

I saw Van Halen’s maiden “Hagar” voyage when I was 15 at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Ft. Worth, TX. We had one buddy who could drive and his car broke down on I-30 trying to get to the show. We somehow made it to the concert and the only other memory I have of the show was Sammy climbing around on overhead scaffolding. That was “commercial” era VH

That’s a really good point of reference type question. When I saw Black Sabbath,I was aware of the other musicians, but if they replaced one of them it wouldn’t have dissuaded me from liking the band. If you replace Ozzy, then all of a sudden it’s not what I signed up for. In terms of VH,I thought as long as Eddie was playing guitar it wouldn’t matter who was singing. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Different vibe with Hagar,no where near as much fun. Dave was just a flat out better front man,and I feel that to some degree his intense energy was contagious with the rest of the band as well as the audience. I know you weren’t asking me but you got me thinking.
