In the wild: Animals edition

@Oaktavia We love the hummingbirds around here. Josie gets territorial sometimes (her nest is safely inside of a bush, but right next to our front door) and she'll protect her nest with a move that we've dubbed "buzzing the tower" where she flies really close to us and we hear the insanely fast flapping (buzzing) of her wings.

A cute woodpecker in the park close to home

@twin a blonde bat that is super cool. How big was it? Hard to tell from the photo looks not so small.

@Oaktavia About 3 inches long and 2 inches wide est. Was fast a sleep when I saw him.

The misses got me a video bird feeder for Christmas. Now that spring is here I set it up. I love birds. Cardinals are terrific.

In British English, we would say missus unless we meant more then one unmarried female, Which, I guess you could have meant

When we were traveling we stayed at a place in TX where a cardinal took particular issue with his reflection in our truck’spassenger side mirror. It got so bad I had to put a bag over the mirror to keep him from trying to kill himself.
