I find it odd how much the press is talking about Val playing Batman. That’s so far down the list of the things I think about when I think about him. Even his early work like Weird Science and Top Secret figures more prominently in my mind, not to mention Top Gun, Tombstone, Heat, and a host of better films.

Cheers to one of the favorites of my youth.

We had the opportunity to watch No Other Land this week. Everyone should see this film if you can find it screening somewhere.

Sinners was PURE CINEMA.

That one particular scene when music is playing and everyone is dancing (no spoilers) was genius. Brilliant movie, music slapped.
