I am afraid not, once its on, it can not be removed without rendering it useless apart from a little silver paperweight.

I'd love to get an opinion from folks who have upgraded to the copper snaps. I had my black wester Kersey upgraded quite a while back to the copper snaps and they look fantastic, but unfortunately I can't wear the shirt open at all because the snaps are so loud - it seriously sounds like a rain stick when I walk around if I don't have them all snapped up and it's been this way since I got it but just never bothered wear it open until now. Is my shirt a one off or have other experienced this with those specific snaps?

Copper or brass? I know the brass ones make a noise because of the way thet are constructed, I have not heard of the copper ones making any noise.

These can have a little rattle to them depending on the fabric but rainstick is both humourios and alarming - Want to get it back to us and we can take a look and re-snao them tighter? Just drop me a PM or email.

@Graham can I email you a short video of them making the noise? They make noise with the slightest movement or touch but if its just a matter of hammering them down tighter I can give it a try with a rubber mallet or something maybe?

@SilentMikal I personally find that hammering them down tighter does not make as much of a difference as a fresh install at better tension so would really love to get this back to make it as perfect as possible for you.

@SilentMikal FWIW, the same copper snaps came standard on my CPO. Mine don't rattle.
