@Matt I haven't been on a skateboard for 20 years (although I've surfed a lot in those years, if that counts for anything?) - cautiously relearning as my kids are getting into it. That's my excuse anyway, but the same thought has definitely gone through my head

I bought the girls skateboards and they showed no interest. That was going to be my rationale for convincing Katie to let me skate. Oh well.

I recently started longboarding…I look like a funny old guy with football pads mowing a lawn

@goosehd Mine's a surfskate - slower and less twitchy than a conventional skateboard, same size wheels as a longboard. Proper middle-aged man board!

I went with the Arbor Axis 40 which I have found pretty stable and forgiving.

Lynne got through a chunk this AM and team McCoe has taken the second shift to continue the party.

Is that a bartack machine?? If not, what is it?

@sophisto000 it is indeed a bar tack machine, but that’s not all! It converts from bar tacker to a pre-programmed and a bespoke programmable stitcher. It’s rather fabulous and I’ll be showing more of what it can do over the coming weeks.

The other machine is a 5-thread overlocker, which we’ve set up to match Iron Heart’s machines in Japan as closely as possible. More to come on that too, but in the meantime here are some bar tacks for you
