The issue is not the size of the buttons. The button hole sewing machine's pitch is exactly the same pitch as most of our shirting denim, so if the needle goes into the `"gap" made where the warp and weft intercept, the stitch gets no purchase and will pull the button hole constructional thread out of the denim...

You betcha! There was also the 156 and 157. Burgundy or charcoal plain UHF in western or cpo.

The burgundy cpo is probably my most worn UHF.

@FlavourFade RGT just recently released a sashiko cpo. Big brass snaps... Almost snagged one on iron shop provisions but it sold out.

@FlavourFade the few bits I've had have been excellent quality but the fit never worked for me... I went from find an L so restrictive to being swamped by an XL!

@T4920 yeah sure! Had a pair of jeans, a lined trucker jacket and the supply jacket. The jackets sizing was the same like you... But with XL/xxl
