The 818 arrived and fits well! There isn't a thread for this model. Should I make one for them? I guess it would only be me posting in it though. I keep knocking around the idea of which pair to wear alongside my 888XHSib this season. I think these might be it.
I really love the 20oz double duck with these. They are still super dark, darker than the photos with minimal fading all throughout. I think these will fade with high contrast. They fucking smelled bad of cigarettes though so they are in the wash now. Plan to wear them later this week.

Very cool man! Some of those older duck pieces (love the jackets for instance) are some of my favourites from before my time here.
Would be easier to keep up with your progress if there was a specific thread for these.

First time spotting IH in the wild while walking back to my car over the weekend. Apologies for randomly snapping you like some sort of pap, fellow traveller, but I spotted your UHF a mile off and could not catch up before you got in your car. Pretty sure I saw the flash of a red W on your jeans too.

When I signed up here waaaaaaaay back in 2011 and attended my first (I think it was IH’s second) party, a few things were different for me.
My son was 6, he’s now 18.
My waist line was two tag sizes smaller.
I had no idea how to size or shrink my jeans.
My work was a whole lot easier, and much less time consuming.It’s been great reading the forum this last couple of days, awesome to see the brand and community thriving and still growing and amazing to see and read so many people getting the same welcome, laughs and love after all these years.
I didn’t sign up when the forum changed, life got in the way, I couldn’t wear denim all the time like I used to, people I knew didn’t post as much and I drifted away from the whole denim scene.
Reading the forum, looking at product pages, looking back on old posts has made me feel like a man out of step with time. That’s not a bad thing at all, just great to see how much Iron Heart and the community has grown since those early days.
The ramblings of an old denim head this conclude

@Megatron1505 You were already hear and quite active by the time I signed up,just a few weeks after you. I think I might be the only one still actively around from those days. Always glad to see your name pop up. Similarly to you my son was 17,now 30,I’m retired, but still wear denim every day. Maybe next time you and Stu venture to NYC, I can meet you for a beer.
