@SKT Thank you as it's a special spot for Laura and I! It was where her families' cottage (cabin) was, we spent our honeymoon, and where we have built our home. It's on the northern shore of Lake Ontario which has all of the characteristics of the ocean without the salt water.

As a public holiday in Germany, 1 May is known as Tag der Arbeit or German Labour Day. In many parts of the world, Labo(u)r Day commemorates workers of all nations fighting for the privilege of working (only!)

Hi guys, new to the forum here, thought i share some picture for today

In typical American fashion @Aetas in 1958 President Eisenhower declared today “Law Day” to celebrate the importance of the rule of law. This probably was intended to take the steam out of International Workers’ Day.

This is more of a "what have you been doing lately" type of post. But, I was there today. So, it qualifies. Work, work, work is the theme. A few weeks ago, I started a new project. Removing and replacing a metric shit ton of piping, in a chocolate factory. Most of the work is in a tank "farm". Temps are kept north of 100°F.

@neph93 , this may bring back fond memories of happy hours past. A certain serial killer once worked here, in the '80s...
