@Heavy_blue yeah they’re great! They’ve been around for a while, starting out more punk then developing into more of this sort of grinding rock thing. It’s really disheveled and a bit menacing, definitely reminds me of Nick Cave, the Libertines, maybe a little bit of Oasis.

Anyway, had these two on vinyl for like a year and I guess it took em a while to sneak up on me, but man they got in.

@Jett129 it's the same band in name only by the late 60s

I'm not sure the exact details ( maybe contractual obligations??)but I think by this album it's just David Axelrod and a bunch of studio musicians

I dig their earlier garage stuff for entirely different reasons

I missed out on the Ty Segall tickets but I got an email today to at he added a 2nd performance in the same day at 3 pm. I thought that was pretty cool so I hit tix for that. I feel like it will have a SXSW vibe seeing a show that early in the day.
