I have owned the 634 14 oz broken twill since last September and I wear them the most of all my IH denim.

Part is because the waist fits me 10/10 perfect, but they are super easy wearing. Light weight yet they still ooze quality and durability. They have a really nice hand that’s different than a regular twill and it gives you yet another solid, not at all weird, reason to rub your own pants.

They are almost too easy to wear, and for that reason I just toss em on, apologize to my other pants, and get on with my day.

I haven’t worn them in the summer months yet but I’m assuming the lighter weight paired with the straight cut will make them more manageable than my slimmer pants.

Just got a pair of BT. Haven’t had time to post about em yet but absolutely love the denim. Gonna wear all summer. Get some for sure.

Another vote for broken twill here! I’ve loved my pair so much this summer I only wore my 888 RE like two times.

I only have the regular 14oz but for summer I’d def go with the non OD, just for lightness and probably more airy?

Now that you’ve made your decision I love the 14oz OD.

I’ve not experienced the BT though. Next pair will be heavy since I have some slub Pronto 888 in the backlog.

I’m letting go of my DR cargos which saddens me but I’m now looking at the 733 and 734. Can anyone provide their thoughts on comparison?

I only have the 734. Think of a Carhartt cargo pant, but it feels pretty light yet very sturdy. I have in both green and black, and I like them a lot. They are rather wide, at least the legs. The 733 I have only touched, much softer and smoother in comparison.

And then there’s the camos coming out. Don’t know if they’re cargos or what. How many pairs of cargo pants is acceptable before it’s weird?

Is quantity really the right metric here? I mean would you ask the same question if it were a pair of denim you were looking for?
