When Sean Payton was running his mouth about how bad Hackett was (not that he was wrong, but it was profoundly unprofessional) he earned himself this karma of being down 0-3 to Hackett’s 2-1 at this point in their seasons and letting a team that was a top 5 defense the year prior allow 70 points in a game for the first time since 1966. Man he’s looking like an idiot and a bust at this point. The Donks’ front office has doubled down on failure.
Bears are similarly abysmal and the Saints really shit the bed today.
Maybe some other game will give me something positive to say. Here’s hoping!

@mclaincausey The Saints were definitely hampered by losing Carr but as a Green Bay fan it was great to see them come back after blowing up in the 4th quarter last week against Atlanta.

And now for your week #3 wrap up. Even though I was eliminated last week,I couldn’t help but think who would I have picked? And it would have,for me,been a no brainer. I would have picked the Dallas Cowboys, who I,intrinsically, don’t like,but hell a double digit favorite looked like money in the bank. Unfortunately @Twistlock may have felt the same way,as the Dallas Cowboys are upset, by double digits ,by the Arizona Cardinals, and our good friend @Twistlock will ride off into the sunset this week. As for everyone else. I have to think I saved @scooter by only letting him pick one team this week,and fortunately for him he picked at least one of the right ones,and he and @Nocturama easily head into week #4. @IrishHeart is definitely singing Fly Eagles Fly as they took care of Tampa Bay and send him flying into week #4 And @flannel-slut rolled the dice,went with his heart and the rain and the Pats kept the Rodgerless Jets grounded,he too moves into week #4. That’s all for now.

@Nocturama Sometimes it feels like teams buy into the hype about them and all they have to do is show up to get the W. The Cardinals had other ideas,and in the end The Cowboys needed Dak Prescott to win the game for them,and we know how that went. I think the 49ers are much better coached,and if it comes down to it I trust Brock Purdy to win the game for them.

@IrishHeart Depending on how old you are it might not have been in your lifetime. Maybe since the Barry Sanders days. I'm really happy for them,and Jared Goff,even though they bounced me out of the pool with a loss to Seattle. Really like the coach as well.

@Jett129 unfortunately I’m actually older than Barry so remember him well. We started getting NFL TV coverage in the UK in the early 80’s which is when my interest started.
Every time Detroit were on the TV in the 90’s it appeared as if Barry was a one man offence!
