@dinobarnesberlin indeed it is. Canada Goose never impressed me from afar because they use (ironically) duck and not goose down and it’s not typically high loft (usually <700 fill power). But this is definitely a quality garment that punches above its weight for warmth, and the cordura seems about on par with highly technical shell fabrics.

@Mizmazzle FF is a true down nerd / down snob brand, they are pretty much the best in the game for serious warmth IMO.

@EdH Not only are Bibs and a vest a great combo,but I have to think that our Bib King/Filthy would've approved,and might have even been moved to buy a vest. Don't recall him having one.

@mclaincausey FF is def super nice and ultra light. Really high fill count leading to incredible warmth. Perfect backpacking layer. Keeps the pack light. Of course, I’m a bit of a nut and choose to lug some denims with me completely negating any ounces saved by said down jacket. No one said this fade game was going to be easy haha
