      Ok question,
      I believe already been answered

But seeing some people using the Tumble dryer for drying jeans.

I know it’s not recommended but still some do it.

Any benefits from it, for the Fades

@Kasi I do it all the time, especially once I’ve gotten all the shrink out. Sometimes inside out sometimes right side out. Depends on how they were washed. I use the highest setting and put tennis balls in for the wrinkles, and it has absolutely zero effect on the fading process.

I Think the effects on fading would be over time. You’d get less contrast than if you air dry them. If you don’t wash and dry infrequently it wouldn’t be as much of a problem. Ive dried mine once or twice with no significant issues.

I always tumble dry, inside-out. I can only compare to what I’ve seen online of you crazies that baby and hand-wash all your stuff, but I think lower contrast is the only difference in fades. That comes from the machine washing, and not from drying.

Can anyone help me ID these: https://www.marrkt.com/products/iron-heart-9oz-cotton-chinos-green-31?_kx=9Ir7c6ZKdNDjrFY5V3kjbpsXOvpYTRxCd8iQ9IrbMGI%3D.T8mKkc

I'm assuming they're legit, but I've tried searching the Bottoms pages, but can't find reference to a 9oz selvedge cargo pant on these forums... Might be tempted to give those a go tho if they're for real as they look to be my size.

                      Take the dive...

Those look like 718 heavy sateen cargoes. I’ve always wanted a pair. Not sure if the fabric weight was ever published.

Tricky one. They are def legit, but the sateen was not selvedge. I think the only selvedge cargoes we did (other than denim) was the IH-714

                            And the IH-705

Nevermind, it appears that someone else decided to snap those cargos up. If you got a tip off from my post above, whoever you are, you're welcome.

At least that makes it easier for me to get the 2 shirts I'm after from SS23...

I am looking at purchasing my first Iron Heart product, so I am a bit cautious about getting the sizing right. I am looking at the Ultra Heavy Flannel Tartan Check Western Shirt and I would typically expect that I would be a medium. I measured a shirt of mine that fits well. The P2P is 21.5 and the waist is 20.5. The shirt isn't tight on me, but it fits well. Basically I am saying I have room to play with. So here is my question, should I look at the medium which has a P2P of 21.2 and a waist of 20.3 or size up to a large (P2P 22, waist 21.2)? I would hate to order the wrong size. Any help from you experts would be greatly appreciated.

@JasonT Sounds like the medium would be the right size without any shrinkage. How do you plan to wash the shirt?

@JasonT No worries about the thread, it can be daunting trying to find your way around!

I think you would be safe on the medium, in that case. You may want to make a note when you place the order that you'd like one that is slightly larger than chart if possible; that would give you a tiny bit of wiggle room. If you sized up, you could probably wash it a little warmer than you normally would to force some shrinkage if needed.

I think I would err on the former, if you are sure you are happy washing cold etc
