Looking forward to the new episodes, and I echo @Karol that in depth interviews with the Japanese crew would rock. I’d love to hear more nitty gritty about how the magic happens.

My biggest worry is not to water down those thinking that it’s necessary to make the content “approachable”. It’s the nitty gritty that is most interesting, exactly like @Weft-4-Dead mentioned.
Majority of interviews with musicians are crap because it’s generic. And the reason is that they don’t really talk about music because interviewer does not have knowledge of the topic (zero understanding of musical form, zero knowledge of notation, harmony, rhythm, etc.).
I will always be a harsh critic of music critics because they strike me as a bunch of uneducated fools attempting to report on some French political campaign without bothering to learn the French language. What could one write in such a situation? "The candidate started off softly, building to a climax, whipping the crowd into a frenzy by the end." That tells me nothing of the content of the speech. That is exactly how most music criticism sounds to me – illiterate fools talking about the style of a speech in a language they don't understand, incapable of grasping the slightest notion of the content because they don't speak the fucking language. -

Any update on the pod? I really enjoyed the first few seasons. I ended up buying a big buck after hearing Alex talk about his and the whole production behind the BB. Pretty cool stuff.
