A trucker kinda vest/jacket is meant to be short that’s how they are invented in the time cause all of the denims back in the time were worn a lot higher then we wear them now a days. It takes some getting used to, at least that’s my experience. But like someone pointed out i would be more concerned about the length on the sleeves of your shirt. For me, that would be to short. I don’t wanna be rude but just give you my opinion. For the vest i would say that you have a good fit and you gonna enjoy it

Monkey arms and shorter sleeve lengths on Size Small IH shirts are to be complained for that short sleeve length on that shirt. But I got used to it and it does not bother me that much anymore as it used to.
