That is going to be a tough looking scar. Pretty extreme holiday. I'd be a bit shaken up, but on the plus side you've got lots of good stories out of it. Thanks for sharing all the ups and downs, fun to see it all.

I did not fish the following day (not wanting to get the dressing wet with salt water), nor did I tell Paula until I was 3 minutes from home last night, as she had got pretty upset about the damage I had done to myself in the whale incident, so I did not want to wreck her week further.
I have to admit, I was pretty shocked last night when G got home.
But his decision not to tell me was a good one, I had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend with family without the worry of my husband's (further) damage. What can I say? Life is never dull… ::)

I’m glad you’re ok, and I didn’t mean to jinx you. I made that comment tongue in cheek, however there may be something to superstition (not that I have ever put any faith in it), but…
Well one good thing, nobody can top your stories except maybe Alex T. You guys would keep a bar entertained for days and never pay for a drink (especially $70 for corona’s). That may be the biggest upset of the trip.

you got some fish in the boat and you walked in the door looking a little worse for wear. Paula can lick the wounds and it's on to the next one.
Lastly, to be fair this one was doomed from the beginning with the Covid delays and whatnot.
