Self edge measures the waist differently. They should be from the same batch of jeans, so if you’re used to IHUK measurements go by those, or use self edge’s measuring guide to figure out your size.

Got mine today. They fit! This is the 4th pair of jeans delivered to me. I returned the first 3 because they didn’t fit. I wanted the iron hearts all along. Lesson learned.

I haven't worn jeans in a decade and have decided to switch and pick up this 'hobby'. For my regular rotation I've recently got the IH-888S-142 and IH-888S-142bb, and today just got the IH-888S-SLB, I might finish things off with IH-888D (when they restock).
The slubby is quite unique! There's more of a difference than I was expecting. It's stunning to look at. Definitely stands as distinct item in the rotation, rather than just a slight variation (how I'd expect indigo/black to be).
The slubby "came out of the box" much more pliable/flexible than the others, though I have no idea what to expect after some wear. The listing says it's "incredibly soft" and it really does feel like it, even at 2oz heavier.
Some people might not lack the patch, it is different, but I really like it.
Looks like we have the same rotation of jeans just that mine is in 666.

@Choko there’s so much interest denim on the horizon. I’m super happy to have these slubs though, it’s nice to have something so textured. If you pull the trigger I doubt you’ll be disappointed!

@jerkules Fantastic job w those! You finding with the looser weave that you are getting more than avg stretch on the waist? Strongly considering a pair for the summer

Thanks @Bren There’s definitely some good stretch but nothing particularly unusual from other denim I own - I accounted for 1 inch stretch and I think the denim probably could go a bit further. I potentially could’ve gone another size down, but I’m more than happy with a little extra room in the “comfort regions” if you know what I mean ;).
I’d say trust the one inch stretch, but if you’re between sizes then go down rather than up. If that makes sense..

Lovely. As ever, surprisingly soft. Feel much airier than my 21oz. The waistband doesn’t need to give me very much to be spot on where I want them. Think I’ll be wearing these most of the summer then.
