Awaiting xl indigo version for fit, which I should have today. I assume I have a day+ to go after this vs needing to pounce on it right away? Thanks.

I like the idea that this is an overdyed shirt that won't fade.  These look really nice.

@Giles, @Alex, are these 10oz work shirts going to be in continuous production?

It's here, it's just as good as I remembered, and it's no less of a shirt for having its dangly bits cut off!

If you want pics, you'll have to wait a bit - the light has gone now and I won't have a chance till the weekend.

Fulfilling my debt from the other day.  Not really the weather for a lighter shirt but I have been looking forward to wearing this all week. The pic is the best I could manage with my timer before my my hands went blue - not sure if tonal hands is a good thing or not  :).

@Alex I haven't seen it discussed on the forum elsewhere, is this non-fading OD technology going to cross pollinate to jeans too? will everything overdyed be switched to this method or was this a one-off for the 10oz fabric shirting?

Thanks @jordanscollected. It looks even better in person and feels great too.  I have no idea why there isn't more love for this shirt on here.

I'm wearing this shirt as I write and it's pretty darn wonderful.  I love the weight, it's substantial but not (the usual much loved) body armour feeling, better suited to warmer weather.  The OD is particularly versatile is you want to tone down the straight up Canadian Tux.  (I love a fine Canadian tuxedo but you know, but the dark color looks a lot less like denim, and that can be a plus.)  I've discovered that I prefer work shirt designs to westerns, not likely a popular view but that's cool.  I'm just grateful that IH made such a wonderful shirt.  I plan to live in mine for months to come.

@profdbrk I agree with pretty much all of this (and it's good to have some company on this thread).

Do these run a bit longer than average on both front and back measurements or mostly the back? I am interested in buying one but would prefer it not to be overly long in front. The listed back length seems about 3/4" longer than my 275-BLK and 269-PPL.

I would contact customer service about measurements, but unfortunately IHUK doesn't have small left in stock.

That's what I aim to do. Just curious about the front length rather than the center back length.

Got the shirt in. My phone cannot capture how nice the fabric looks up close, but I promise it looks great. The included picture is right after the shirt arrived. I will take more soon.

This shirt actually did shrink in a hot wash. about 1/2" to 3/4" in length and feels a little more snug all around. I was a bit surprised since the description said to expect no shrinkage due to the overdye process but also glad because I wanted it to be shorter.  😉

Here’s the preshrink vs post shrink fit. You can see how much shorter it is. The different jackets over the shirt may be a bit deceptive as the IH corduroy jacket is notably more cropped.

And here’s one more with an outfit.

I imagine this one isn’t a big seller, but it’s a lovely shirt.
