Yes, that’s one of the amazing things about them… super slubby on the outside, and quite soft and comfortable on the inside. I’ve had them on for an hour or so and they’re quite comfy from the start… not much “breaking-in” required.

I’m holding off on mine too, even though it is hard. 16oz is summer weight for sure. The way things are here it’s XHS and UHR all day everyday.

Wore mine 2 hours today.
Such a different feeling on the skin in comparison to the normal denim. Now have my sweatpants on and it
feels like I still have the SLB‘s on, specially on the thighs. Leaves a kind of memory effect on the skin it seems

Started wearing the slubbys this week . A lot of bleeding on my RW 
What are your experiences ? Did someone soak them before wearing ?

A soak won't really help a lot (if at all).  They've been one washed….

Don`t get me wrong , it´s ok that they bleed. I take it as an individual form of indigo art on my boots.

Is it specific for the slubby that they bleed so much? never had it that strong with my 21oz/18oz jeans.
