@mclaincausey It’s definitely something else,as the jeans are overdyed twice with 2 different kinds of black dye. Hence the moniker Mad Black.

 To date, all of our black overdyed garments are basically just indigo garments with a black sulphur dye dunking post-construction. The only current exception to this is Mad Black jeans which have been overdyed using 2 different techniques and those are secret.In the future, as we phase out sulphur dyes, you will see more experimentation. For instance, SS22 includes some reactive overdyeing which as a process, is much better for the environment than sulphur dyeing.
