Iron Heart WAYWT - 2021 Edition

@thomas01 and @jordanscollected digging the denim westerns, I own a ihsh-276 but a Wabash is definitely on my radar. I don't typically wear mine open but it's looking like there's a whole side of the look I'm missing out on
Thanks @LewisStonehouse , I gotta put some work in breaking them in a little so they don't look so super fresh during the next happy hour
@SKT the bibs have become such a great casual staple in my wardrobe, really looking forward to some cooler weather. I find the more I've worn them the less strange I think they look.

Thanks boys I really appreciate it.
@Joberwocky The Wabash fabric is a 12 oz. twill weave but not actually denim (you may have known this and just bundled the comments together as 1).
It has a very soft hand and can take an absolute pounding. It does great wearing it hard and washing it often. The western cuts are great you just have to watch out for the longer sleeve length and less boxy cut when compared to a work shirt (your 276 may have you prepped to tackle this).

I always tend to incorrectly lump wabby and denim, probably just due to the indigo. I don't tend to mind the added sleeve length in the Western cut, I'm in it for the aesthetics of the yokes and snaps

Awesome!

Weather is definitely turning. I was surprised to hear on the last podcast that Hiraki doesn't much fancy the 1955 cut–-my current favorite. They go right with Indy boots too.

He may like it, but in his mind he can add no value, therefore he is disinterested.
What about the Type III, you holler?
Well, the cut of the Iron Heart Type III is very different from the original. Steve at Simmons Bilt just could not get it right, so in the end, we sent him a digital pattern….
