I feel so fortunate to have received my first dose of the vaccine. Drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to sit in a 2 hour line in my car in an amusement park parking lot. Luckily I was with my lady and we listened to Bob Dylan.

I seem to recall a couple members of the forum wearing U-Masks. Apparently the Italian government has halted their sale because the claims that they’re effective haven’t been tested or certified. I don’t speak Italian though so maybe I’m losing something in the auto translate. Either way, not a good look for such an expensive mask.

I’m sticking to N95, KN95, or KF94 at least until I’m vaccinated.

yeah I've got a couple. they're really comfy to wear, coming from someone that hasn't had a need to wear a mask at all for the past year because of where live.

I don't really  care much about it's effectiveness since where I live, covid is almost non-existent. so to me, it's only to meet the mandatory requirements of wearing one while out.

does anyone know if the ban is only for Italy and if they still ship internationally?

Only CE certified FFP2/N95 masks allowed in Austria… people are now tested here everywhere. You need a new haircut? Test first... children are tested when they enter school...

I’ve taken to double masking as of late. A KN95 with a cloth mask over that. Surprisingly,it ‘s more comfortable and my glasses don’t fog up. Feel as if I’ve gotten this far and hopefully will be getting vaccinated soon,a little extra effort definitely won’t hurt.

Just a heads up, they're saying not to wear a second mask with a KN95. I had been doing it, until I saw this.

What are your doubts? The science behind the vaccines seems solid, and their efficacy is beyond question.

My doubts are the vaccine make very soon, there no details are long it last, like the flu jab is yearly.

Since the pandemic started, a lot been said some people’s saying it’s safe others saying it not..

The government hasn’t been completely honest about many things.

I think like the flu shot, and as the virus changes,you might have to get a yearly shot. Also like the flu shot,if you do happen to get the virus anyway,you’re chances at survival are significantly better. Just my two cents. I’m eligible but can’t get an appointment yet. Plenty of people better connected than me jumping the line.
