    IHSH-276-IND - 9oz Selvedge Ombré Check Western Shirt - Indigo/Grey

Our classic western shirt silhouette in a 9oz selvedge unbrushed cotton flannel. The darkest shade in the pattern is rope dyed indigo, and the lighter greys are sulphur dyed, allowing for plenty of fade potential and character to develop as the fabric ages.

Is this really indigo?  I'd say brown or green before indigo.

The description says that the darkest areas are rope dyed indigo. If you look at the close up in the first post you can see what appears black is in fact very dark indigo. The brown/green is in the pattern crossover. The pattern and weave design of this is a work of art. Looking forward to more close-ups.

The dark yarns are also indigo….

I can kinda see the indigo if I zoom in and squint 🙂

                    Looking forward to this one!

Is this in the same colourway / fabric / design as the IHSH-12, IHSH-47 or IHSH-105 (but without the quilt lining)?

Looks different than each of those. Color way is new, and there’s never been an indigo ombre, as far as I know, so the fade will be unexplored territory.

                                Sorry, newbie question here:

Does the fact that the dark parts are indigo mean that they will eventually fade to (light) blue?

The dark parts will fade but given the starting point I doubt it will be very light blue. The contrast with the navy parts will remain.

Awesome! This fabric is flannel, right?

Yep.  Flannel is really just a generic term for a soft woven wool or cotton fabric.  We will update the Intro Paragraph to make it clearer.

This weight of fabric is possibly my favorite. My indigo blue one is like the softest flannel I've ever owned. It's a coin toss whether I will go for this or the 5 oz madras. It's like Sophie's Choice though because they are both so incredible 🤤
