We had a little pre Christmas DIY session with the Munich crew. Whiskey, Pizza, just hanging around great friends and crafting something. What more can you ask for.

Rainy in Maui today. Let’s go to the aquarium!

On the drive back, I was rewarded with one of the most inspiring sights I’ve ever seen. Impossibly close to the shore of southwest Maui (I think within 200m of me), a gigantic humpback whale breached MAJOR air with a twist and a mighty splash. I have seen this from a distance, but this was the closest and most dramatic one I’ve seen. I pulled over and looked for more but just got the one. Made my day. I just love our cetacean cousins of the sea.

Fun travel day…
I guess technically it’s not Jackson Brown, but the sculptor started with him in mind.  The similarities are supposed to end with the hair style and then represent the overall look of the Eagles from that genre.  There is also a bronze statue to my left (not pictured) that is, in fact, a depiction of Glen Frey.

Thanks. Yes, it is fog It was definitely chilly outside, 21 degrees when we stopped. Unfortunately, no BBQ stops today as we are just passing through Texas. However, we will have plenty of opportunities for BBQ once we arrive in Kansas City Missouri. What… did I just spark a heated BBQ debate?!?[emoji51] Texas versus KC???
