It sure is. I’ve found myself considering that in both directions, haha. Better not gain too much weight in the holidays, but also better not get too aggressive with this diet because I don’t want these 634s falling off… better not get too crazy with the weights cos I don’t wanna size up in shirts

This and during the week I usually have not much time to spend in the forum to see what's going on. I therefore use the 'View the most recent posts on the forum.' If then one or two pages with mostly selling stuff appears I am off…

I feel like that exists. Just looking for it now in fact.

If not we can see what @AdamJ and @Alex can do with the new platform.

When I first got on the forum there were certain sections that  you couldn’t access unless you were a member. Then one day it went away.

That’s kind of irrelevant as the people that are listing for sale threads are members so it wouldn’t help @Chap’s rant. @neph93 didn’t you set up a post limit to be able to view the B&S boards to stop the scammers a while back? Perhaps that is no longer firing?

But sometimes someone will inquire about an item and when I check their profile,they’ve only posted in the Buying/Selling section or have almost no posts at all. Technically they’re members.

Exactly, so hiding a section to non members does not solve this particular issue…

I think that the attraction for Non-Members to use the IH Forum for selling as opposed to other options is that it’s Free.

I didn’t mean hiding to non-members. I was thinking that maybe there could be a way for Chap to just hide that section unless he wants to visit it. I don’t know how that would work, but it might solve the issue. Or if like you don’t care about “general chat”. Hide it. Simple?

@Alex So in continuation of my post:

Could you make the marketplace invisible to those not logged in?  This would allow for @Chap and others to skip this section and let them view the recent posts unhindered.

Just a thought.
