Josh got us some champagne and all the food looked great. I know my scallops and grits with fried oysters were great. Creole barbecue sauce on it. I’d been telling Keira the day before of one of my two meals I always try to get in NOLA, the Cafe Lüke shrimp and grits, similarly a creole barbecue affair but also with Tasso and andouille over stone ground cheese grits (other being the Cochon fried rabbit livers with pepper jelly) the day before, so I basically wound up at BEARCAT because I wasn’t gonna have a chance to get that Lüke meal and they had a version of it to scratch my itch. You can opt for shrimp on it but I stuck with the scallops, added the optional fried ersters, and enjoyed it.

I just got off the phone with my wife and she tells me she was at Iron Shop today. Said she met Alex and that it was a nice shop. Wish I could have joined her but I'm in MD. She says she picked up a pair of socks for me WOO!
