I think getting em really dialed will give you an absolutely fantastic pair of boots. As I said, mine aren’t even a perfect fit and they’re more comfortable than most of the boots I own.

That could be an option but I'd probably go with the Nicks 55 in their engineer before that since it fits so well.

@John Galt looking good. I put an order in in February for a pair. How long did you have to wait on them?

Also at Ship John's advice, I ordered a 11.5D in them. I have a pair of bubble toe jobmasters that fit great at 12D, but they were pretty confident 11.5D was the right move. How did you size them?

@Tmulltuous I ordered the Derroll boots in mid-January.  I am a 9.5D Brannock and an 8.5 in the Viberg 2030 & 2050.  I ordered a 9E.  Ship John contacted me since they sell few E widths of these and after discussing, I changed my order to a 9D.  The fit is good, they fit just a tad slimmer in the body than the Mister Lou.  Hope it works out for you.

My cousin dropped his boots off for a rebuild today and drug me along. He bought some natural horse hide boss boots and I ordered some foot patrols in Buffalo!

Yea they’re pretty rad. And that’s only after 2 years 8.5 months.

After a rather long wait, I finally got my first Wescos! I couldn't be happier.
Big shout-out to @Chesson for helping me with everything along the way. And to @neph93 for making it happen (though you don't know this!).It was after hearing you talk about your custom made Wescos in an Iron Cast episode about a year ago that I decided to go that route too.

These are custom build Jobmasters, 7", brown CXL.

That’s absolutely brilliant. Considering the fact that my first Wescos were The Boss model with the Harness rings, your polar opposite,I never have thought of that. Love the lacing up top as well.

Can I ask when you ordered these? I have some MTO's on the books and want to get an idea of how the Wesco timeline is these days..

I would expect anything between 10-12 months. My last order has been placed in December and the most recent update I have received was October/November.

I think I put in my order late September, early October of last year. So I waited about 10 months. Worth the wait though!
