Ship John Wills V2 XXLposted in Stuff for Sale
Hello everyone,
I’m selling my Ship John Wills jacket in size XXL.
You all know the jacket, amazing build and quality but I have to make room in my closet and I have way too many jackets..
The jacket is in very good condition and nowhere near broken in (if that is even possible).
I’m located in Europe but have shipped many boots and jackets overseas and the past so I’m sure we can work something out.
The sizing chart on the website is pretty accurate, let me know if you want more detailed sizing info.
I’m asking 550€ + 30€ shipping but open to offers.

Would there be a possibility to pre order a pair in different sizing?

Baker's boots and White's usually do a very nice black friday sale, I think Baker's said it will go live this friday.

DON'T LISTEN TO DR's SIZING ADVICE! They are notorious for sizing people too small.
White's 55 sizing, for me, equals Brannock - 0.5.I'm a size 11EE in White's and 11EE in Wesco MP95 FWIW.

What temperatures can this jacket handle? Is it usable in rainy conditions?

RE: Aero Leathersposted in Other Brands and Shops
Aero jackets are good quality and use great leathers, you can't go wrong with an Aero as a first jacket.
Fit is king with leather jackets so be sure to spend some time on looking at measurements and understanding different patterns.

No, the glue on it's own is mostly enough to keep the sole attached. The stitching helps and nails too but I would not be worried if the nails are missing (imo).

RE: Ship Johnposted in Other Brands and Shops
That’s an excellent point @bbtns
I did just snag one of their Henley thermals in medium and it fits perfect for how I like em. Not really the same as a full on shirt but perhaps some type of barometer.
Yes, I think if you give this as a reference point the crew will be able to size you correct for the jacket.

RE: Ship Johnposted in Other Brands and Shops
Good info @Palmer between the long ass wait and the inability to exchange of the sizing is off…it’s a bit of a high pressure situation. Haha.
I’m curious…anyone have any experience/ thoughts on how the newer lines version compares to the V1? Haven’t read much input on that factor.
Something I did and worked out great: I purchased a Ship John shirt before my Wills jacket got made. Confirmed sizing with the shirt, the crew said to take the same size. Sizing for the jacket worked out perfect.
Ofcourse, you'll have to shell out extra for the shirt but it will give you some ease of mind.
