Being southern, I’ve had a lifetime of everyone throwing around silly diminutives like “babe”, and “hun”, sweetie, etc. I’m used to it. Sometimes it rubs me the wrong way, and sometimes not shrug. But, I find myself doing it to others, too. So, there ya go. I guess I give as good as I get.

@Filthy I used to have three back cats with my ex wife (may her awful soul burn in hell). Two were short haired sisters and one was a long haired boy my buddy gave to us. After we split I told her to keep the cats…one of which had sadly died from leukemia a few months prior.
Anyway, glad to see you are enjoying your pair.

my condolences. And I am sorry for your loss.The one on the left used to belong to my 2nd ex-wife, and she let me have her when she moved across the country to pursue a career in recreational crystal meth and opioid addiction.
The cat was almost vicious when we got her and she used to attack my ex all the time. She has mellowed out and is a sweetheart now. The other one was a stray and just showed up the one day. Séli turned 3 months old yesterday. She's been with us for one week now. The cats are still still expressing their discontent by staying downstairs.

The cat that died sadly caught the Leukemia from the orange cat upstairs (our friend's) and his cat sadly died too. Can you imagine if cancer was contagious with humans?!
My apologies, I did not mean literally she was in Hell, just an awful, awful human being. My life has since improved tremendously.
