Sizing advice needed.
I am currently breaking in a pair of 666S-BK 21 in a tag size 33 with an actual waist of 33.1. Have worn them daily around the house etc for the last 10 days or so. They have stretched out to 34 (my actual waist is 34) and sit nicely with me able to get a thumb in at each hip (could wear them without a belt and wouldnt want them any tighter).
Was looking at picking up a pair of 777's and am struggling with sizing. Was thinking of going a 33 which has an actual waist of 33.6 but am afraid they will keep stretching and become too big.
Thoughts?
My recent experience with the 777S-21:
As measured by me, new before wear (size 31)
Waist 31.6" Thigh 11.45" Hip 3" up from crotch 19.5"After 20 wears, 12-14 hours per day
Waist 32.75" Thigh 11.8" Hip 20.1"Just remeasured the waist. Yesterday was 40 wears. 32.8". So it appears the stretch has settled down to about 1.2". These fit me quite tight at the waist, which I like. Thumbs barely in the waistband. Also, I don't wear a belt.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown man and everyone else's response. Seems like my gut feeling that the 33.6 waist will be too big is a good one.
Have signed up for notification on a size down (which would hopefully come in a little larger than the measurements) so will wait for an update on that.
In the meantime I need to distract myself from eyeing up a wabash shirt (indigo)

Haha dont tempt me! Unfortunately I am also coming up against sizing issues there….
Have got an IHSH-33 in L that fits perfect so was looking at the Wabash Western in L but the shoulders are a little tight and the sleeves are 2 inches longer! eek. May be that I hold out for the work shirt.

Any updates on when the next production run will be for these? Everyone is sold out of the size 28

First pair of IH. After wearing these size 33 777s about 5 times I realized I should of sized down. I like the fit of the legs but the waist is gonna be too big after they stretch out.
Size 32 should arrive this week. Hopefully those work out better.

It’s interesting seeing the fit on those 33” pair. I’ve been considering getting a pair in that size.
I need to decide if the low rise (and narrow thigh) is something I’ll be comfortable with. I’ve owned a few second hand pairs of 777 jeans and can never quite get it right, eg 34” were too loose in the waist. Maybe 33” is the answer…. but then they’ll be very tight in other areas.
I own a pair of 555 jeans and find the crotch is too low and restricts my leg movement.
Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives to 555 and 777? Something still relatively slim.
