Didn't know you ate that little meat, nephy… Obviously a GREAT decision imo  😉

@neph93 Now that is something I would eat today (closer to 50).  Looks delicious and I bet that you could manage the calories by watching the amount of creme fraiche used and (big if) you could eat a normal serving.

          I seriously doubt that I could.  😃

We had a beef stew yesterday, still half of it in the fridge. Todays Wok with Tofu is empty…

So 14hrs later and the pork butt is done, a little longer than I was thinking but well worth it. Really glad the weather was somewhat decent in NY. This time of year it can be a crap shoot eaither way….

I'm really happy with how it turned out. I hadn't done pork butt in a while, it was a nice break from brisket and ribs.

We’ve been eating more meat than usual as it is basically comfort food in our house. Got back to our vegan diet today with a kidney bean dahl. Lots of garam masala  in the recipe which suits the beans well.

It’s was thanks neph93 I ended up freezing half, much to the kids disapproval, as the only loaf tin I have is huge. (had to double the ingredients)

Your kidney bean Dahl looks ace too, a fav here, glad to see it doused in coriander, mmmm! Like you, we are also seemingly eating lots now at home, but never before have we had all this time together to enjoy our meal times as a unit. A silver lining I say, on life, amongst the clouds of change facing many of us.
