Speaking of cool - I always think of Tom waits when I see a lee rider jacket. Still I prefer the denim collar over the storm rider Version. But the blanket lining makes up for it.

I love the color of the cord on the hand warmers and how well the blanket lining goes with the cord collar.

On a heavy jacket like this one don’t you think a thicker corduroy for the collar would be a better match? Circa 10 wale?

Looks bloody glorious, the whole thing. Vintage 18oz is a perfect denim for this too.

Lovely jacket. What's the reason why the hand warmer pockets don't go inside the blanket? The hands would be warmer that way I'd expect…?

It does look as though the corduroy is only on one side of the pocket liner, with twill on the other. I might make it a full corduroy lining for warmth.

Construction challenges aside, not sure that horse blanket is the best liner for hand pockets. Something about the idea pits me off.

this looks bloody good. would you not consider alpaca lined or is blanket just better or easier?

or maybe cord outside alpaca line interior?
