Unofficial first day of spring:

Two more signs that spring is here, my first Tilquin of the year and Anfield in sunshine:

That's a special (and very rare) Tilquin… Where did you get it?.. It took me two months to find a couple of bottles...

This is a higher abv version of the Gueuze Tilquin à l’Ancienne containing the blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old lambics aged in oak barrels. Due to over-carbonation, the beer underwent a second barrel aging process before being bottled a second time. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this beer is refermented in the bottle.
