Continuing my health kick, grassfed ribeye, seared in coconut oil, finished with grassfed butter and a demiglace, balsamic glazed steamed broccoli, baby greens with a homemade herb vinaigrette.

Gorgeous stuff. I miss the Maillard reaction on salmon and this is a great example; been poaching for health reasons of late.

Tonight, Thai. Laab gai (minced chicken salad thingie, a favorite), som tum (a traditional pairing to laab gai, green papaya salad, also a favorite), and some red curry shrimp. Not gonna lie, pretty delicious. Completely paleo except I used a bit of butter along with the coconut oil in the curry.

Redundant? Yes. Wild coho salmon marinated in a dill/lemon/olive oil vinaigrette and poached in butter and dill. Steamed asparagus. Chard, spinach, arugula, tat soi tossed in an herb vinaigrette with green peppercorn rinded goat cheese. The Prisoner red Napa table wine.
