@bluemantra it's not exactly like the 526L it has another effect, first of all it doesn't shrink at all, it's not so strict but rather more comfortable in my opinion, on paper it's the same denim but it doesn't have the same roughness

@bluemantra Of course it is thinner than the XHS but it will maintain more stiffness, but as I wrote above not at the level of the jacket, I don't know why but it's not the same, at least in my opinion

Noticed a bit more variance in these so we have tweaked the size chart accordingly.

Just laying on the couch and noticed this fabric has ripples like horsehide footwear gets! Only about 3 days of wear on these jeans though, so the ripple effect may not persist. Very interesting and very rigid fabric so far!

Hi @rhyn we have not long had a full restock of these in July, so it will most likely be the same time next year at the earliest. I would suggest signing up to the restock alerts by selecting the currently out of stock size, incase we do receive the odd few pairs. And any news/updates regarding an impending restock will get posted on here before anywhere.

Does this denim soften with wear and washing like 21 oz and 25 oz? Or does it always remain stiff?

All our denim softens with wear, this is no different. My pair of these is pretty comfortable a year in, but less so than 21oz after the same time. I personally would not accuse any of our jeans of being uncofmtable after a couple of weeks of wear, though

Started wearing these in February 2024 daily on weekdays to work, so with vacation days and holidays, they have roughly 365 wear days on them without actually keeping track. Three washes during that time period. And yes I carry my wallet in my left front pocket which creates the unusual / unique fading on the left front side - a mortal denim head sin I’ve come to understand but I’m too old and set in my ways to care or to change.

@John-Galt I have to carry some stuff in my front pockets for work and also have some irregular and asymmetric fades but I think it's just part of honest work we put into our denim, while some examples look too perfect and almost artificial

I’ve found that careful stretching when wet after washing prevents most of the leg twist. Got some leg twist after washing my 777’s the first time but it disappeared after the second wash when I did a better job at stretching them. They pretty much have as much leg twist now as my 555 21 oz SBG’s and 777 18 oz Vintage
