Frikkin love the Swedish Goat. Saw there first gig in the UK 2013 which was absolutely awesome!
I saw them in Austin around that same time and they were so killer! I’ll pay a visit to the Yacht Club, cheers

In unrelated news, I just scored floor tickets to Gorillaz, a bucket list item for me. I wish my wife were able to join, but she has an event.

Ahh, might try to snag a ticket to see Gorillaz here if they're not astronomical. They're playing this new pavilion thing that, judging by the prices of another show I attempted to get tickets for, is aimed right at the nuveau monied Austin techlords. But I digress…
I was/am a gigantic Blur fan, and Gorillaz are pretty much the only Damon proj I can get into. I really dug The Now Now (and plenty others).

They opened their Red Rocks run with that one, @seawolf ; talk about comin' out swinging, the whole place erupted and 9,500 people were singing every word. What an amazing group they are. I can't think of a live act I enjoy more right now.
I can't believe I'm saying that about a band without a drummer.
All 3 of the albums with the current lineup are great. Hard to pick a favorite. I think "Renewal" has more of a timeless feel but "Home" is a masterpiece in its own right.

Also, if you look closely, you'll see my wife and me in the second row on this performance, where he played Red Rocks for the first time, opening for Greensky Bluegrass. I've never seen it that packed for an opener. In the classiest move ever, Greensky had Billy come up and sing one of his songs, "Meet Me at the Creek," for THEIR encore.

@mclaincausey and others you might be interested in this which I spotted on my FB newsfeed immediately after listening to the Red Rocks performance you shared. Dom Flemons has been doing interesting stuff for a while and I expect this will be worth a listen.
