@Mizmazzle @mclaincausey You guys had. Happy/Sad moment last night. Happy that your Broncos won,Sad that Bo Nix fractured his ankle on the next to last play. At this point I don’t see anybody beating that Seattle defense anyway.
-
@Mizmazzle Saw some memes, gifs and internet chatter on the officiating on that last interception. Nice that it wasn’t directed at The Chiefs for a change.
-
@Jett129 the missed holding call in the end zone is what I’m salty about. Game ends there and Nix doesn’t get hurt.
-
@mclaincausey I saw/heard something about that as well,but haven’t seen any replays.
-
Loyal Bills fan here. We get used to saying … “there’s always next year”

-
Pats played like crap and managed to get the win.

So did The Rams.

@Brandrea really wanted for Allen to get his this year. Without mahomes in the picture it seemed like his chance.
-
Placing this one squarely on Payton not kicking a FG. That was the game.
-
Go Pats
-
Go Hawks!!!

@Mizmazzle I've alway felt that if The Lions had "Taken the Points" a few year ago, they would have beaten the 49ers in the NFC Championship game, and the way that team was playing, there's a good chance they would've beaten The Chiefs in the SuperBowl that year.

There is no question that loss aversion hampers success in football. It is statistically provable using regression analysis that we punt too much for example. This is rooted in psychology: we fear losing more than we enjoy winning. Behavioral economists have a good handle on this.
That said, the pendulum has swung foo far in the other direction as far as field goals are concerned. In this circumstance in particular, with the momentum Denver had, the way the defense was playing, and with incoming weather, it was just a dumb decision.
All this to say, I really appreciate a coach with the guts to challenge conventional wisdom and overcome biases to do what makes sense. This was not that.
