Hey @yannis this pair is a size up of what I would’ve actually got due to size not being available so it does have more of a relaxed/baggy fit. Also, the pair of 634‘s I have is 1 1/2 sizes smaller with a fitted top block so can’t really compare it with Samurai’s straight cut either. But out of curiosity I measured the sakura’s the IH way and compared it to IH’s 634 in the 17oz & 18oz denims and would say measurements are somewhat within the ballpark. I did notice the Samurai’s having a slightly lower rise (-1/2”) and marginally narrower thigh (-1/8”). These are also my first pair of samurai’s and got them on a whim without knowing anything about their fits. Just based it off of what measurements I could work with so take what I say with a grain of salt. Apologies as I’m not the best at giving advice on fit.

@cyclops Mine didn't shrink at all (wash at 30). They are very good, not fluffy like IH but very good.

Adding the S511 slim tapered 18oz & 19oz denims to the Samurai arsenal. Really dig the stealth look with no arcuates/branding besides the patches on both pairs & appreciate the smaller measurements that Samurai provides.

Still wearing these S3000XX17oz-SDS. Felt stubborn to fade at first but I feel like I've started to really turn a corner on them finally. Fuck I love slubby stuff. Definitely get compliments on this pair fairly regularly

I recently received a pair of the SJ42BP (Heavy Back Satin Trousers - Olive - Slim Straight Cut) and they fit and feel incredible. These recently restocked in Japan (Denimio and Okayama Denim). I love the bakers pants, but wanted to try this fabric in a different cut.

Has anyone on here picked up one of the Cotton Project tees? Mighty pricy, but I love the concept. I’ve seen and felt the black (more like charcoal really) one at SE and it’s pretty rad, but I’d love to know how they fade. It’s black bean die, so I’m guessing the organic nature of it would make it pretty fade-prone. If anybody’s got experience, please lmk.

I bought a long sleeved black one about 18 months ago. I haven't worn it a ton. Maybe 20-30 wears and 3-4 washes. No fading of note. Nice shirt though. Quite substantial with a boxy, flowy kind of fit and long arms similar to IH so the sleeves have to be cuffed. Fairly slubby, but still soft. I enjoy it for cooler temps.

@68degreesorless thanks man! The short sleeve version looks like it fits a bit snugger with fairly short sleeves, which are both features I dig. I recently bought a 2-pack of the new style medium weight tees from SE and I think they might be my favorite t-shirts I’ve owned. Or at least in the heavier category.
@flannel-slut I love that shirt you posted a few back. Is that a newer or older buy? Didn’t see it come up when I googled.

@Denimhead-0 Looks great on you! I have this one also. The color is so good. I have to wear it as an under layer during the colder months since it is so thick. Plus, the neck hole is so big for me that I wear a shirt under it. I might need to pick up the green one at some point.
