IHSH-447-SAX - 5oz Cotton Linen Open Collar Short Sleeve Shirt - Sax Blue

Similar in fit to our mechanic shirt cut, this short-sleeved summer shirt is made from a lightweight 5oz cloth, blended from 80% cotton and 20% linen. This creates a garment that feels soft, floaty and highly breathable — perfect for warmer climates. While it shares features with our mechanic cut — including a straight hem and split seam gussets — this is a unique cut in its own right, featuring four-hole buttons with horizontal placket holes for a more secure fastening, action pleated shoulders and a button and loop fastening at the collar. Finishing touches include a chainstitched embroidered Iron Heart chest logo, and yellow internal bobbin thread for a splash of summer colour.

Honestly, I’m usually not one for branding, but I probably wouldn’t have bought this shirt without the red stitching. To me, it makes the shirt. It gives an otherwise simple shirt a little personality and vintage character.

Interesting on the slow (for IH) sell thru so far. I am not a SS guy so not for me but the stitching really suits the shirt for summer.
