Love this. This is a large and I normally take a large in UHF.

Personally I wouldn't ever jump two sizes. This is meant to be roomier, but even then I wouldn't skip down from XL to M. Each to their own.
I wear Large in UHF's and went to Medium for the Green check overshirt, but it's a diff cut and it's not easy to directly compare. M was smaller than I thought, even though the measurements might have indicated otherwise. Ok for me though. But I would never ever have got away with S for instance.

Have to stress, it's a personal thing, but I wouldn't be going from XL to M.

had to get in again. Pre Christmas treat. You know that way when you kinda justify it.....but don't really have to. Speaks for itself.....this is the one I really wanted. Just so happens a few other pieces got in the way first!

@goosehd lol. It was so convincing I actually started to believe I was “in difficulty”.
Got to check out and it was out of stock so had to buy from R&H.
Couple of problems on their site too but got there in the end.
In my limited time on this site that’s the quickest sell out I’ve seen.

All my problems are now resolved lol. Thanks for your advice and understanding. 🍉

I'll be calling it "The Sour Grapes" if I don't get one.

Anyone following this from last week will know in roughly an hour and a half I'll be suffering from "explosive diarrhoea" apparently. and will excuse myself from a meeting.

This will be like Elvis and JFK, "Do you remember where you were when you landed the Watermelon".

"Pretending to be on the pan".

      The glamour.

I am sure you will all have your stories haha!

@AdamJ I believe you've strayed over the white rope and are nearer than the allotted 5metres from the cliff edge. Keir Starmer's minor infraction police will be onto you shortly. 4 years min.
      Lawyer up!

      Great shots though!

@Bridger lol didn't realise you'd said Bob Vylan. My bad!

    • RE: Live Concerts

Going to see Bob Dylan this weekend for like the 20th time or something.
Not for everyone I know, but always delivers for me. No pics allowed as all phones must be locked in a Yondr pouch for duration of the show. Have to say, it was really good with people focusing on the show when Bob has insisted on this at last few gigs.

@goosehd haha. hmm. prepared to actually follow through on that plan to make this happen.
(can you see what I did there etc).

Sage advice my friend. Duly noted.

you wait for what seems a lifetime (lol) and then it launches at the same time I'll be in a meeting. Nightmare. Need to think of a strategic reason to leave half way through!

    • RE: Sizing - How to (User Perspective)

I do something similar. I just keep a little Excel sheet going of the things I own, and the stated measurements (not the actual ones of the ones in my closet), and I have that open on front of me when new measurements of new items are posted. I always go with the stated measurements as no point trying to compare actual in hand measurements with the stated measurements of a new piece. Unless you're going to narrow it down to a certain size then start emailing the crew to narrow it down further based on what your prefs are.
I just do a quick comparison by pasting in the new item at far right of my table and seeing how it compares, obviously I know how each of the other shirts feel on me so it's pretty easy. I mean you're usually only going to be between the same two sizes, most of the time anyway.
So when it goes live I know what I am getting. And what it is likely to be like.

@68degreesorless It's a terrific pressing. VMP were knocking out some great ones on a good day, before it all went to hell.

      Great artist, much missed!

    • RE: MLB (Baseball)

@Mizmazzle right, makes sense. I remember Buster Posey taking a major injury years ago with a home plate collision. Guess that's a similar thing, trying to force it loose?
Brutal anyhow. But last night seemed to me to be a classic game. For hardcore fans of either of those teams, it must have been a true nail biter.

    • RE: MLB (Baseball)

I am a casual follower of baseball from Scotland. Question for the hardcore, at the end of Game 7, should Isiah Kiner-Falefa have run through the base as opposed to his slide?

What's the accepted logic? Slide every time at home? People run though 1st, why slide at home? etc.
      Classic series though.

The sizing chart for this in the product page is different to the sizing chart in this forum page.
      What one is correct?

Or am I reading it wrong.

    • RE: Show us your boots

      @Bobca
Yeah the story goes that they were utilising remaining material leftover from previous styles, made something like 403 pairs and weren’t going to be getting any more outsoles so I believe that’s all they could make.
Sourced matching hardware and there you have it. Hence overall numbers limited to the availability of the Vibram TC-1 I believe. Limited it to European stores.
I live in Scotland, so happened to be down in London the week after they went on sale and nipped into the Red Wing store and was able to try them on and got the guys to send them to Scotland for me.
      Love them.
