For anyone who cares to know, as I tried it out. $225 item on rakuten and shipped via rakuten. They will only offer global express shipping. I used to pay around $40 to ship from Japan and now it is a little over $60. Real kicker was the tariffs which came in at a whopping $94. I could have bought the item from Okayama denim for $325 but when my size sold out I decided to go for it. Seems those shops are still cheaper options comparative to Rakuten now.

However it seems the amount I paid is higher than expected or what Google says the % is but no way around it. You can’t exactly challenge it.

@Oaktavia yea interesting part too is that it’s the same section on both. It’s doesn’t seem sporadic

6 washes in. Been wearing as main pair for 18 months or so. Have noticed some of the chain stitching has been coming out. Adds to the vibes

@Bailey hmm ok. Thanks for the info. Def interested in seeing how it changes the drape and structure. Would be sure many are keen to see the sample with the side panels on vs the OG model to see differences. Don’t want to assume how I think this will change the wear but have my ideas.

@SKT with my mushrooms I tend to put them in the oven at 250F for 20 minutes and then put in skillet with butter melted. It’s makes the outside crispy, locks the moisture and makes them tender inside as well.

Anyone else had any string/thread pulls? Worn the shirt three or four times and already seeing a few creep up. Not a huge deal but worried more about long term. Possible it is just me. Anyone have suggestions on how to deal with them. Obviously I know cutting is a poor choice.

Lil surprised this one hasn’t been getting love since it’s been selling well. Bought mine from guilty party. Tight weave, wears heavier than 5 oz for the moment, especially when I compare to the 417 double gauze I bought as well. Like how it can dress up a bit. XL fit is great for me.

@ZackB fwiw I am xxl in this and xl in the 419 and 420. Tried them all on at guilty party. Agree with the size up consensus

@tody so do you think it will wear “heavier” even with the loose see through weave or what’s your first thoughts? Mine scheduled for Monday delivery
