@indigo_fades to be honest, neither did I until this one turned up in the post. I knew it was going to be acrylic fleece and no natural materials but quality and fit wise it’s still far above sportswear brands etc. Don’t get me wrong, Real McCoys this ain’t (I think the Real McCoys equivalent is around £700) but it’s more than acceptable for its price point.

Decided to put this up for sale as I’ve only worn it once. Cost £180 with £40 or so import fees from Japan but I’d be happy to move it on to someone who will wear it for £80 via PayPal friends and family.

For reference I usually wear a XXL in most Iron Heart (apart from UHF’s where I go XXXL) and this in an XL fits me loose with room for a sweater or hoodie.

Very warm and heavy and from a smoke free home. Unfortunately this is from the made in China range and not Japan. Still a great bit of kit though.

@SamD wow!! I’m about 30 wears in on mine and really hope it ends up like that one day. Would also love to see more black warp/cream weft pieces in heavier denim at some point

@Brandrea the same thing that’s put me off.. I’m only 5’10 but quite broad shouldered so would be a 46 in the flat head flannels. My IH shirts are fairly long and most of the flat head flannels measure at least an inch or two longer, I just don’t think it will work. I’m going to try and get to Rivet & Hide over the Xmas hols and try some on so I’ll take some pics and let you know how long they seem when wearing? Pretty sure we are a similar size aren’t we

@pechelman no problem, sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Hell of a shirt though isn’t it? I keep eyeing the flat head flannel westerns but still can’t get over the cross eyed pocket snaps and the measurements on the flannel workshirts seem well off to what I’m used to with IH.

@pechelman I have cold washed and drip dried it at around 5 wears in but unfortunately didn’t keep notes of the before/after measurements. I sized mine quite loose and have not really noticed a difference in fit since it’s wash. Maybe a tiny bit in length, so I guess if you wash it at 40 and use a dryer you might get a bit of shrinkage?

@Brandrea there’s the 264 which was re-stocked fairly recently and pretty much the same shirt? I’m sure some of the retailers may still have it, Rivet & Hide had a few the last time I called in.
