@BalticBob I messed up on the sizing so it was a little too tight for me - I have since learnt my 'true' size

@BalticBob I had one of those and would say it is perfect for what you are looking for - it looked great and was definitely a bit lighter than a lot of their other offerings but still warm

    • RE: Y'2 Leathers….

Quick update on my Y2/shop Vancouver chore jacket -

I have been wearing this thing a lot more recently......when I first got it, it felt slightly too big and I thought I had messed up with the sizing - but as Tj says in his videos, this jacket shrinks down to shape around your body, so it now feels great.

I was also a little unsure I could pull off a red leather jacket.....I loved the look of it, but felt it might be a bit too much for me. But I have to say, the colour and look of the leather has really grown on me over time. I thought it might be too bright, but as the base colour is camel (with the red on top) the colour is a lot deeper/rich than a bright red - and it is more of a sort of 'tomato' colour than London bus, which I love.....and little signs of the camel are already starting to show in some areas.

I have found the overall design just really works too - it has seven pockets in total (the hidden side hand warmer pockets are really great) and the bi swing back just gives more freedom of movement.....it is just a very comfortable jacket to wear.
Also I love the way it has a bit of a retro biker jacket look with the heavy zipper and bi swing back, but also (to me) has a bit of a retro 70s leather jacket thing going on at the same time (especially because of the uneven colour)......so it sort of falls somewhere between the two and I just love it more everytime I wear it.

So anyway - I just wanted to say this one has probably become my favourite of all my leather jackets - it's very practical, comfortable to wear, but also has a lot of mojo to it too!

    • Y2 leather jackets for sale

I have far too many jackets at the moment, so it is time to have a bit of a clear out.

All jackets include Y2 clothes bag and wooden hanger

All prices include UK postage (not really looking to send them overseas if possible) and payment via PayPal friends and family please

      Y2 IB-140 (size 40)
      £825

this one has had a bit of wear (a few months on and off), so has some started to patina a little in areas and feels nice and soft. It is a fantastic jacket and the photos don't really do it justice, the colour is just perfect.

Chest - 21.5" (pit to pit)
      Shoulder - 18" (straight across)
      length - 24.5"
      Sleeve - 25"

      Y2 KB-140 (size 40)
      £825

same as above, this one has had a few months wear on and off so has started to show signs of wear/patina here and there - it is more noticeable with the kakshibu leather (which is a thing of beauty) so has little scars and marks here and there......but the leather is nice and soft and has started to darken from the original cream colour.

      Chest -21" (pit to pit)
      Shoulder - 17.5" (straight across)
      Length - 25"
      Sleeve - 25"

      Y2 TB-139 (size 38)
      £625

this is a fantastic rough out type 3. This one has only really been worn once so is pretty much as good as new.

Chest - 21.25" (pit to pit)
      Shoulder - 18" (straight across)
      Sleeve - 25"
      Lenght - 24.25"

@derek111 looks fantastic!…..and size wise they start off a little oversized, but shrink down to fit pretty quickly. I thought mine was too big at first, but now it’s spot on

can anyone who owns the Kristofferson chime in on the sizing......is it pretty much true to size, or does the lining mean you need to size up?

Ship John’s recent little tease on their instagram of the upcoming Kristofferson jackets comeback. Looks like a Black n white filter been added to keep stuff interesting and unknown.
From the pictures something in my guts say the jacket and lining is a different color.

What do you guys think? Anyone excited about this to be teased more?🫣

Looks like this new colourway isn’t happening now…..just the standard version

@mecken88 I would absolutely love to get a kristofferson as it is right up my street, but to be honest with the ship John drops I have pretty much given up now as it seems impossible to ever actually purchase anything

    • RE: Y'2 Leathers….

@tvaillant75 I am a size 42 in pretty much all the Y2 jackets I own…..I can get away with size 40s but definitely find the 42s just more comfortable. I have the Kakishibu chore in size 42 and it’s a good fit, but slightly tight when buttoned up, so I think I could have maybe even sized up to a 44 in that one, but the 42 is fine (as I wear it unbuttoned anyway) - sizing is quite tricky I find as it seems to depend upon the jacket style/how thick the leather is and the fact they shape out and tighten up a bit with wear - so personally I would recommend slightly bigger if in doubt

@Slash said in Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?:

Other colors of the 17oz duck pants.
I'd like a sand-ish light brown other than the already existing, but pretty sure other colors would sell nicely

yes! I would love some in dark grey - similar to the recent double fronted shorts

    • RE: Y'2 Leathers….

@uclabruin I have the shop Vancouver green version, and I have also tried the regular navy version (and they both fit the same).........they are very warm jackets though, so It depends upon where you live I suppose, but I have never needed more than a t-shirt underneath when wearing mine

@uclabruin I am a L in UHFs and personally I would say yes, go with a 42, especially if you want to layer
