@mecken88 the problem I always face with a lot of brands (iron heart/ship John/Y2 etc) is most of my body measurements are suited to a medium fit, but my chest measurement is always more of a large fit......so I either have to go fitted and can't really button things up, or I have to go looser all round and can actually button up. So I find mediums maybe look a little better on me, but large is always just more practical/wearable for my weird torso!

@FlavourFade well, I did what you said, and it has shrunk up nicely......now it is absolutely perfect, so thank you so much!

RE: Ship Johnposted in Other Brands and Shops
@FlavourFade - I will certainly give this a try - thanks! ( it is such a nice jacket I will be wearing it even if it was 4 times too big

@mecken88 just got mine - I went Large, but now im thinking I probably should have gone for a medium too as its a bit on the big size......its wearable, but I think a medium would have been a bit better......lovely jacket though

I think the IHJ-122 is pretty much a perfect jacket, so a leather version would be amazing!

RE: Y'2 Leathers….posted in Other Brands and Shops
@tvaillant75 this has been my problem, the chest measurements tend to be a little too snug on a lot of y2 jackets unless I go a size up, which I find works best as if the shoulders are a little large they will shape to fit the more you wear it (especially if the jacket gets wet) I have found the jackets tend to shrink down more rather than stretch out

@tvaillant75 i've had a few y2 jackets and in my experience its better to get something slightly bigger - if it fits perfect on day one it will feel tighter down the road, whereas slightly oversized on day one will from around you to a comfier fit......its a lot like the heavier denim thing before and after an initial soak/wash

@Marc2706 looks amazing.....I really love the olive colour! I have been thinking about picking up one of their burgundy or light indigo offerings, but that olive is also very tempting

RE: Ship Johnposted in Other Brands and Shops
@mecken88 seeing as your Y2 kakishibu chore shirt is a size 42 then I would say the large in the Kristofferton should be spot on....congrats!

RE: Ship Johnposted in Other Brands and Shops
@RLG212 when I first got my Kristofferson the sleeves definitely felt too long and I had to turn up the cuffs......but now after months of wear I have turned the cuffs back down and the sleeve length is fine as they have shrunk up a bit with wear/creasing.

RE: Ship Johnposted in Other Brands and Shops
would anyone who owns both a wills and a kristofferson mind commenting on the sizing difference?
i own a wills and the shoulder to shoulder seems a lot smaller in the kristofferson but i’ve also heard people say sizing up was a mistake for them.
@rewseph I have both jackets in size Large, and the actual shoulder measurement for both is 19" across, so they pretty much fit the same.......I would say you should be ok with your Wills size in the Kristofferson too - well, at least in my experience anyway!

RE: Iron Heart Loyalty Vouchers - 2026 and Beyondposted in News
I always loved the surprise of receiving the vouchers, but in no way do I expect them - I love iron heart for what you produce, and any changes to help that continue is fine with me. I'm not here for any freebies but because I really appreciate the quality of your products and service.....thats what gets my loyalty every time
