Just another update (spam) of the evolution of my y2 chore jacket…..a bit more of the camel underneath is starting to come through…..I just love this thing more, every time I wear it

inspired by @pechelman and his amazing new jacket, I decided I definitely needed something cherry as well, so managed to track down this one - I love the colour, a deep, dark maroon/purple/red, maybe a little shinier than I am used too, but think it will age nicely!

ordered this at the end of last year from 'Black Bear Brand' and it has just turned up - it is one of their hand dyed versions of the Y2 N1

finally managed to snag a second hand wills!.....went for a size large and it fits perfectly, with enough room to get a hoodie/UHF underneath, so very pleased with it.......I am really liking the quality and fit of the ship John stuff, (and the gold hardware they use too) - definitely worth trying to get your mitts on one

i recently bought the IB-141 new, and also picked up an EB-140 second hand (although it was practically new) and i absolutely love the pair of them.
Both size 40, and i am usually a large in most iron heart shirts and jackets.

I especially find the colour of both jackets really beautiful, the green one has some real depth to it that is hard to see in photos.
The Eb 140 is also a bit thicker/heavier than the IB141, so is better if its a bit colder outside with the indigo more of a lighter, everyday jacket

Finally!.....managed to get my paws on one of these bad boys....(chefs kiss)

Quick update on my Y2/shop Vancouver chore jacket -

I have been wearing this thing a lot more recently......when I first got it, it felt slightly too big and I thought I had messed up with the sizing - but as Tj says in his videos, this jacket shrinks down to shape around your body, so it now feels great.

I was also a little unsure I could pull off a red leather jacket.....I loved the look of it, but felt it might be a bit too much for me. But I have to say, the colour and look of the leather has really grown on me over time. I thought it might be too bright, but as the base colour is camel (with the red on top) the colour is a lot deeper/rich than a bright red - and it is more of a sort of 'tomato' colour than London bus, which I love.....and little signs of the camel are already starting to show in some areas.

I have found the overall design just really works too - it has seven pockets in total (the hidden side hand warmer pockets are really great) and the bi swing back just gives more freedom of movement.....it is just a very comfortable jacket to wear.
Also I love the way it has a bit of a retro biker jacket look with the heavy zipper and bi swing back, but also (to me) has a bit of a retro 70s leather jacket thing going on at the same time (especially because of the uneven colour)......so it sort of falls somewhere between the two and I just love it more everytime I wear it.

So anyway - I just wanted to say this one has probably become my favourite of all my leather jackets - it's very practical, comfortable to wear, but also has a lot of mojo to it too!

yes! - finally managed to get my paws on one of these beauties......I've been after one for years, ever since I got my first N1 deck jacket - its in great shape (pretty much like new) love the colour, and is nice and warm....got to love that alpaca lining

a couple of days ago my boy told me that 'all my clothes say iron heart on them'.....and that when he's older he wants to dress like me! - my work here is done

My Gibson wallet has just arrived! - so of course now I have my eye on the new EZ slider…..but then again, i know what it’s like trying to buy stuff off their site, so I don’t have high hopes

been through lots of guitars over the years, but currently just have this one as it is simply the best I've played - plus it looks nice and subtle......

I do like the heavier denims, but recently decided 14oz is good enough for me - so I have stocked up and plan on spending the next couple of years living in this lot (just waiting for the over-dyed to restock in my size to complete the set)

Mine has just arrived! I am absolutely loving it (more so than I anticipated actually) the Kakishibu is so, so nice - I really love this colour even before it darkens
