Designed with summer showers in mind, this lightweight nylon/cotton blend hooded mountain parka has had the inside of the shell treated with TECHNOBRANE, increasing the water-resistance of the fabric without compromising comfort. The shell is also lined with a polyester mesh to improve breathability in humid environments.

First off, this looks fantastic!  I'm curious though, would this be a good outer shell?  Like, throw this over a UHF or type III when it starts to rain?  I've been on the look-out for a waterproof shell like that.

Although intended for summer use I wear a sized up drizzler as you describe above, in spring and autumn up here. I’d imagine this would be perfect for your needs.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Sizing up to ensure that I can fit just about anything underneath.  Lovely color, too!  This green and the khaki.
